In a recent interview with a local media house, the Zuma Times, the 25 year old local government boss revealed that her biggest ambition is not exactly in politics, but to get married and live with her husband.
She said during the interview:
“My biggest ambition is to get married and belong to my husband’s home.”
“I truly look forward to seeing the day that the Almighty Allah will make this dream come true for me.”
“As for politics, I leave everybody to say their opinions, which they are entitled to. I have the capacity to respond appropriately to all situations.”
It can be recalled that last month Hindatu Umar became the first woman and the youngest person to hold the position of Local Government chairperson in Argungu Local Government of Kebbi state.
Until her appointment, Ms Hindatu was the deputy chairman, but was promoted by the state governor, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, when the tenure of the former local government chairman expired. This caused outrage among some natives of Argungu LGA.
