The facility named “The Bosch Experience Centre“, is empowered and fully equipped with products comprising the Bosch security systems solutions, which offers both an education and interaction hub.
The centre will offer customers, trade professionals and influencers the opportunity to learn about Bosch solutions, while serving as an African-class gathering spot for discussions on security and safety solutions.
Chief Executive Officer, Robert Bosch West Africa, Ghislain Noumbessy, said the firm is a leading global supplier of technology and services’, stressing that for over 130 years, Bosch provides a wide variety of solutions suitable to market needs.
“Our aim is to improve peoples’ quality of life and spark enthusiasm. We have improved our presence in Africa in the past few years and now represented in 10 countries, among those Nigeria and Ghana.”
Bosch said is committed to serve the market ‘real local’ with sales, business development, training, technical (on-site) support, application design and marketing. It disclosed that this will be very powerful to address specific markets such as government, transportation, commercial buildings, industrial, lodging and retail.
“We believe that local presence is key to our success as well as for the client’s satisfaction. Therefore we are investing heavily in building up our team in Nigeria in order to serve our clients in every aspect e.g. sales support, marketing, technical support as well as training and after sales service,‘‘ Regional Director North, West and Central Africa, Theo Everaers.
Borch said its presence in Africa dates back to 1906, at present in 10 African countries including Nigeria, South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Kenya, Angola, Mozambique, Algeria, Ghana and Tunisia.
Depending on future business development, the company plans to increase this number in the next years with focus on all four Bosch business sectors including mobility solutions; industrial technology, consumer goods, and energy and building technology.
In 2015, Bosch generated sales of some 470 million euros with more than 760 associates in Africa.
District Manager, West Africa at Bosch Security Systems, Paul Nwokolo, said Bosch security systems is committed to helping consultants, security and safety professionals and enthusiasts, expand their knowledge in safety, security and communications technologies.
“With the opening of our training and certification center in Lagos, Nigeria, Bosch Security systems is now positioned to bring this knowledge to the door steps of Nigerians. The Bosch training and Demo Center will be powered and fully equipped with latest Bosch products and solutions,” he stated.
